Description

ANUA Azelaic Acid 10% Hyaluron Redness Soothing Serum is a Korean serum made for sensitive, redness-prone skin that needs gentle exfoliation without the irritation. The silky green formula combines 10% azelaic acid with a powerful 7-cica complex to calm redness, smooth texture, and strengthen your skin barrier — all in one lightweight drop.

Azelaic acid gently exfoliates and unclogs pores while the 7-cica complex (centella asiatica root, leaf, extract + madecassoside, asiaticoside, asiatic acid, madecassic acid) works in harmony to soothe every layer of irritation. Enhanced with glycyrrhizinate for anti-inflammatory power and ceramide NP to rebuild the barrier, this serum turns reactive, angry skin into calm, clear, comfortable skin.

Why customers love it

  • 10% azelaic acid — gentle exfoliation that calms redness instead of causing it
  • 7-cica complex — comprehensive centella formula for deep soothing
  • Anti-redness — visibly reduces facial redness and irritation
  • Barrier repair — ceramide NP rebuilds and protects
  • Silky green texture — lightweight, refreshing, and comfortable
  • Gradual use — start slow, build up — designed for sensitive skin

Perfect for: redness, rosacea-prone skin, sensitive skin, irritated skin, uneven texture, mild acne, combination skin, anyone needing gentle exfoliation without aggravation.

I suffer from rosacea and this has been a go-to for me. It's brought down my redness and cleared up bumps. I don't get them frequently but when I do, this takes care of them by the next morning. No stinging or irritation on my part, and I'm someone with sensitive skin. It's also free from aloe and shea, both of which tend to wreak havoc on my skin. Highly recommend!

Such a good option for sensitive skin! Eases redness and my rosacea symptoms. No fragrance, which matters a lot for my allergies. It really sinks into my skin and leaves it feeling softer and more hydrated.

This was a lifesaver for my sensitive skin, which reacts to practically everything. I'd buy it again without hesitation. Usually I break out instantly with face products, but this one gave me zero trouble. A tiny amount goes a long way. It calmed the redness in my skin, kept breakouts at bay, added some moisture, feels smooth without being oily, and soaks in right away. I was genuinely impressed. And I say this as a senior.

I've had the product for about 3 weeks and wanted to give it a proper trial before sharing. I apply once daily in the morning after cleansing and before moisturizer.Absolutely love it! It's brilliant for oily skin — no greasy residue and my breakouts have basically stopped.I've always had super sensitive, oily, hormonally dry, acne-prone skin. And now I'm pregnant on top of all that, so I've been wanting clean, simple skincare. This fits perfectly into my new routine, 10/10

The serum stays really tacky on the skin and never fully absorbs. That said, it works fine if you're going over it with makeup or setting powder.

TOSOWOONG's Azelaic Acid Face Serum is a soothing, gel-type formula aimed at minimizing redness and hydrating reactive skin. It has a light green color and a floral fragrance, delivering a cool, calming sensation that feels gentle on the skin. The dropper design is a little unconventional, but the formula itself is well put-together and works well for sensitive or easily irritated skin.Mine arrived inside a box roughly 1½ inches square and just under 4 inches in height. Inside sat a clear acrylic bottle filled with light green liquid. The dropper has an unusual 60° angled tip — I initially assumed it was damaged, but the product listing confirms it's by design. I still haven't figured out what purpose it serves, since it doesn't seem to make applying it any easier. The branding is clean and fits the mid-range K-beauty aesthetic — clinical, minimal, and tidy on a shelf. The ingredient list is printed on the box and included below. The formula is built around azelaic acid, a well-regarded anti-inflammatory and brightening ingredient that targets redness and post-acne marks. It's backed by niacinamide for barrier support and oil regulation, panthenol and allantoin for calming, and a full lineup of Centella actives — madecassoside, asiaticoside, asiatic acid, and madecassic acid — for soothing and skin repair. There are also multiple forms of hyaluronic acid for hydration, squalane for light moisture, and zinc PCA for sebum control. Rosa centifolia flower water lends a mild floral scent, while melia azadirachta extracts and bacillus ferment contribute antioxidant and microbiome benefits. The base includes glycerin, propylene glycol, and hydroxyethylcellulose, giving the serum a gel-like feel that spreads smoothly and absorbs without much fuss.Instructions recommend using the serum to ease redness and deliver deeper hydration. I applied it nightly for more than a week, focusing on irritation-prone areas. It comes out as a light green gel with a soft floral aroma — pleasant and subtle. It feels refreshing on the skin and doesn't occlude the pores. After repeated use, irritation visibly calmed and redness decreased. I didn't observe dramatic brightening, but overall skin tone and texture felt more balanced and less reactive. At $25 for 33 ml, it's slightly more than typical for K-beauty, but the ingredient quality and results justify the price point. A well-rounded pick for sensitive skin, particularly if calming inflammation and hydrating without heaviness is what you're after. My rating: 4 stars.INCI (Ingredients Listed): Water, Rosa Centifolia Flower Water, Azelaic Acid, Propylene Glycol, Dipropylene Glycol, Methylpropanediol, Hydroxypropyl Cyclodextrin, Glycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Disodium Phosphate, Maltodextrin, Butylene Glycol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Panthenol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Melia Azadirachta Leaf Extract, Alcohol, Allantoin, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Niacinamide, Tris (Tetramethylhydroxypiperidinol) Citrate, Melia Azadirachta Flower Extract, Beta-Glucan, Arginine, Citric Acid, Squalane, Zinc PCA, Polysorbate 60, Sodium Phosphate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Madecassoside, Asiaticoside, Sodium Hyaluronate, Asiatic Acid, Madecassic Acid, Centella Asiatica Extract, Ceramide NP, Cholesterol, Bacillus Ferment, Centella Asiatica Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract, Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract, Centella Asiatica Root Extract, Lactobacillus Ferment, Oleic Acid, Palmitic Acid, Stearic Acid, Hyaluronic Acid, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Pentylene Glycol.

I'm a big fan of this face serum. I purchased the one targeting rosacea, which has gotten worse ever since my hysterectomy. Within a few weeks I noticed the flushing across my nose and cheeks had noticeably faded. I also developed acne post-hysterectomy, and although I found another product to combat it, it left behind small scars around the nose and mouth. Those do seem to be fading gradually, and I plan to see it through the full eight-week recommendation period to know for sure. I came across Rufus's notes and learned you're supposed to wait for the serum to dry before applying moisturizer, and that nighttime use is preferred due to sun sensitivity. What I didn't realize before reading that? I'd been applying way more than the suggested two to three drops — I was basically slathering it on recklessly! LoL Luckily, no bad reactions whatsoever. For everything it does, the price feels pretty fair. Because here's the thing — it actually works, as long as you use it properly and keep your expectations grounded.

Absolutely hooked — I seriously can't stop reaching for TOSOWOONG skincare. This Azelaic Acid serum exfoliates well and is a solid choice for acne-prone skin. There's a slight tingle on the first use, but as you keep applying it your skin gets used to the formula and starts responding positively. The Centella helps take the edge off that tingling sensation. It's made a real difference for both my acne and overall complexion — my skin looks brighter and noticeably less inflamed and red. I reach for this regularly now.The one thing I'm not wild about is the texture — it's oilier than I'd prefer when applying, and once it dries it becomes sticky and stays that way through the rest of your skincare routine until you layer over it. Not a dealbreaker for me personally though.

I've been using Tosowoong products for around 6 months and they really work well with my skin. The formulas are gentle, absorb nicely, and leave my skin feeling smoother and softer. Great base for applying makeup on top.The price point is reasonable too.I also appreciate the dropper — it keeps things neat and mess-free. Really solid product.

My 17-year-old daughter has really sensitive skin that can be tricky to manage. I picked this up for her to give it a go and she's been really happy with it. After a few weeks of use she's noticed fewer blemishes and less redness, and her skin generally feels smoother and softer. A little bit goes a long way, so the bottle should last quite a while. She'd recommend it to anyone with sensitive skin who's on the hunt for a quality serum.

I've been using this azelaic acid serum since it landed at my door and I have to say, I think it's making its presence felt — in a good way. I'd done plenty of research on this ingredient before trying it, and I made sure to fit it into my actives routine properly. I started off using it during the day but paused after a questionable reaction — possibly from stacking it with AHA and BHA? I switched to evenings alongside my retinol and that's been smooth sailing. I feel like I'm seeing movement, and there's some purging happening. As someone who deals with adult and some cystic acne, I'm genuinely excited — I've had some stubborn blemishes hanging around for months, and this seems to finally be making a dent. A bit of purging for the next few weeks is a trade-off I'll happily take. No irritation, no adverse reactions otherwise. I've even started dabbing it on purging spots during the day as a spot treatment with no issues, so that's a win! All in all, this has been a really encouraging experience. The one thing that wasn't as exciting: there is a noticeable scent, likely from the second ingredient, rose centifolia flower water. I was genuinely impressed that the serum's green color comes entirely from plant-derived sources rather than added dyes — so discovering a fragrance was a bit of a surprise. That's my only gripe. Aside from that, it's a lightweight, easy-spreading serum that's been pairing beautifully with my retinol every evening. And now that my skin has adjusted, I'm thinking about bringing it back into my daytime lineup too.If things keep progressing the way they are, I'm excited to see what it does for my skin texture and overall health over time. At $37.26 when I ordered, this feels like a really accessible price for an active that's already showing me results.

I had really high expectations for this serum given how much I trust this brand. The packaging is beautiful — the bottle feels premium and the green liquid inside looks appealing. The fragrance is also lovely: light, fresh, almost cucumber-like, refreshing without being too much.Unfortunately, actually using the serum was a letdown. The texture is incredibly sticky, and that stickiness doesn't fade even when you apply moisturizer over it. When I put it all over my face I could literally feel my eyelids sticking together at the crease — not a pleasant feeling.I didn't have any immediate irritation, but the very next day after my first application I broke out, which is rare for me. I also noticed my face had tanned noticeably within just a day or two despite consistent sunscreen use, which I found worrying. The breakouts cleared up after 2–3 days, but the stickiness stayed problematic, so I've moved it strictly to evenings. On the upside, my skin does feel a bit more hydrated overnight when I use it. Based on my experience though, I'd only suggest this for nighttime use — and be ready for possible breakouts before any real improvement shows up.

My routine already involves quite a bit of retinoids and direct acids as I work on fading sun damage spots from years of skipping SPF. Azelaic acid is one I'd read a lot about — especially for gentle exfoliation and encouraging skin cell turnover. I already owned The Ordinary's 10% azelaic acid suspension, but the silicone-heavy texture put me off, so I wanted to try it in a different format like a serum or cream.TOSOWOONG's Azelaic Acid 10% Face Serum is a well-made Korean serum that goes beyond just azelaic acid — it also contains squalane, multiple hyaluronic acid variants, niacinamide, several plant-based extracts including centella asiatica, panthenol, ceramide NP, and zinc. That combination is genuinely exciting, as most of those ingredients work together to reinforce the skin barrier and lock in hydration. It's a nearly clear, slightly oily liquid with a delicate floral scent, and it comes in a 33 ml plastic bottle with a glass dropper. Absorption is decent, though there's a mild tackiness to the finish. I always seal serums with a moisturizer and SPF regardless, so that doesn't bother me. No extra oiliness noticed. I'll keep using it — visible skin turnover from actives like this tends to show up over weeks or months, so I'm being patient.Worth noting: azelaic acid shouldn't be applied at the same time as retinoids, peptides, vitamin C, or direct acids — it's better to alternate between your morning and evening routines.

Most serums are either completely useless or way too aggressive — this one finds the right balance of soothing, moisturizing, and smoothing.✅ Pros:- Feels light, not greasy, sinks in quickly- Reduces redness and calms irritation- Hydrating but not heavy (hyaluronic acid + cica combo)- Works well under moisturiser and SPF- No harsh dyes or synthetic fragrances❌ Cons:- Gets a bit tacky if you apply too much- On the pricier side compared to alternatives- May cause a slight sting on very sensitive skin
