Excess oil occurs when sebaceous glands produce more sebum than the skin needs. In the UAE, heat, humidity, intense sun exposure and frequent air conditioning can increase surface shine while dehydrating the skin underneath. The most effective approach combines gentle cleansing, measured pore exfoliation, lightweight hydration and daily broad-spectrum sunscreen. Ingredients such as niacinamide, salicylic acid, betaine salicylate, zinc PCA, heartleaf, centella and carefully selected clays can support sebum balance and clearer-looking pores. Introduce active ingredients gradually and protect the skin barrier rather than stripping it.
